Chart I (11 sts and 10 rows): width 6 cm / 2.25” and height 3.5 cm / 1.25” with 4 mm / US 6 needles, after blocking.

NOTES

The vest is worked from the top down. First, the upper back is worked flat until the underarms and then stitches are picked up from the shoulders to work the upper front until the underarms. The pieces are joined on the same circular needle and the body is worked flat to hem. Finally, the stitches are picked up from the neckline and the armholes and finished with ribbing. Finally, work the I-cord ties for the front of the vest.
