Wave Pattern Poncho
by Melinda Baur
Melinda Baur’s dramatic yet simple-to-knit poncho is worked back and forth in the grays, blues and purples of Kiri #5, #7 and #11; the wavy-edged rectangle (inspired by the sinewave patterns of Fourier Transform calculations) is finished with a single seam. With an I-cord cast-on and bind-off, the seam is sewn along the unfinished edges at the top, creating the neck.
