DESCRIPTION
The Wavelength Jumper is one of those projects that finds its rhythm early on. A slow and steady kind of make that rewards you with a fabric full of movement and depth.
The reversible stitch pattern is what makes this design truly magical. Waves flow smoothly in one direction on one side, then reverse course when the fabric is turned over, creating a captivating color inversion effect where each color takes turns to dominate either side.
Once you’ve settled into the zigzag pattern, the stitches begin to flow almost on their own, turning what looks intricate into something wonderfully intuitive. The clean, paneled construction gives the sweater a modern, structured shape while keeping the process approachable and methodical. Soft bishop sleeves and ribbed cuffs add a touch of refinement without overcomplicating the design.
Whether you wear it casually or dress it up, it’s a sweater that feels as good as it looks. And if you love the wave motif as much as I do, you’ll definitely want to check out the matching Wavelength Hooded Cowl for a coordinated set!
