Another of my own designs .
Designed to fit the Willie Wishers dolls with the following measurements :
Height 14.5’’ , Chest 7’’ , Shoulder width 2.5’’ , Waist 6 ‘’ , Hips 7 ¾ ‘’
For Hearts 4 Hearts Dolls :
Height 14’’ , Chest 6.5 ‘’ , Shoulder width 2.75’’ , Waist 5 ¾ ‘’ , Hips 7’’

DESIGNER’S NOTES :
I wanted to design a dress that looks a bit like a crochet stitch and after some calculations and samples I came up with this pattern stitch which I really think looks cute . The dress is knit flat in one piece and sewn together at the back from the hem to the waist with 3 buttons as back closure . The neck edge I used a bobble stitch and also on the waist of the WW Dolls . The dress of the WW Doll is slightly off shoulder . The pattern includes knitting and cutting instructions for a long slimfit petticoat and an easy tulle one . I also included knitting instructions for panties and long fingerless gloves .

SUPPLIES NEEDED :
Any Double Knit ( Weight 3 ) that will give you the appropriate gauge .
I used for the Hearts 4 Hearts Doll : Stylecraft Special DK 147.0 meters /160.8 yards = 50 grams as MC and Wendy Peter Pan Moondust DK about 27.2 meters /29.7 yards = 8 grams as Contrast Colour .
For the WW Doll I used : Paintbox Simply DK 151.8 meters /166.0 yards= 55 grams as MC and Wendy Peter Pan DK New Soft Blend 85.0 meters / 93.0 yards = 25 grams as CC
-I used Drops Cotton Viscose 55.0 meters /60.1 yards = 25 grams for the petticoat but you can use the same yarn as the dress .
-Size 3 ¼ mm and 3 ½ mm straight knitting needles .
-3 small buttons to match

• small piece of elastic thread for panties
• ribbon for the gloves
• Tapestry needle
• Row counter -Stitch marker or piece of scrap yarn

For Tulle petticoat :
-Tulle length 38 cm and width 70 cm
-Elastic thread
-Hook and eye fastener or small snaps .

• Sewing needle
• Tapestry needle
