Pretty soon, the trees are going to show us how beautiful it is to let things go…

Knit in the round, using Ancient Arts Yarns Nettle Soft, this drapey, lace cowl reflects the feeling as we watch the leaves bloom in the spring, move in the breeze as they provide shade in the summer, and softly fall to the ground with the coming of fall. The cowl is meant to sit lightly on your neck, providing a pleasant amount of warmth in shoulder seasons when paired with a light jacket, or as an accent piece in the summer for an evening out. Requiring only one skein, this pattern makes a wonderful gift or an excellent way to try out a fibre base you have been craving without a large supply commitment. The pattern can be made bigger by adding a full pattern repeat.
