Whistler

A slouchy beanie perfect for those Canadian winters. I love this hat, its relaxed and “cool”. The yarn is soft and fluffy like snow. Lovely to work with. I really enjoyed this project. The lace is easy and repetitious. A fantastic star on the crown is pretty, I chose not to add a pompom. Easy, quick knit. I bet you can whip it up in a few hours.

Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine Chunky Color Silver Polish, 2 skeins.

Gauge: 16st/24 rows in a 4-inch/10 cm blocked swatch in the lace pattern or
16 st/24 st in a 4 inch/10 cm rib pattern blocked.

Needle 9 US 5.5 mm 16 inch circular and same size DPNs

For sized S, (M, L) head circumference 14, (17 ,20) inches this hat is meant to fit with negative ease so measure your head and knit the smaller size.
