Windows on the Garden
Windows on The Garden is a top-down, seamless, mosaic-patterned raglan pullover, worked in 2 DK-weight yarns. It is an easily-memorized mosaic stitch pattern and lots of fun to watch the color-changing yarn appear in the “windows” as you knit. Choose one solid yarn for the frame and one colorful yarn for the windows.
This is a great choice if you don’t have enough yarn in one color for a whole sweater, since the 2-row stripe mosaic construction allows for using less than a full sweater’s worth of yarn in one color as you pair it with another color.
As a top-down raglan you can try it on as you go to fine-tune the lengths to your own measurements.
