Winter's Bloom
Welcome to the magical world of winter’s bloom.
When Stacy asked me to design a special sock for her yarn calendar this winter, I felt inspired to draw from the warmth and whimsy she intertwines into her color stories.
I have been so inspired by Scandinavian knitwear lately, I love the way various colors are striped through colorwork to bring depth and variation to the motifs. The beauty of a yarn calendar is that you have so many colors to play with. As you create your own winter’s bloom socks, I encourage you to play with color, be creative and take some playful risks in your journey. These socks are meant for cozy days at home. These socks are meant to evoke the memories of the holiday season. These socks are not meant for perfection <3
I am so delighted to share these socks with you. Please share your WIPs, HOs, and FOs with the hashtag #WintersBloomSocks.
