Woodlee was inspired after watching The Glee Project and smiling over, the hat’s namesake, Zach Woodlee’s happy hands. In several episodes he wears a slouch that has a subtle spiral stitch to it. Really, that is fairly where the comparison stops. I have no idea what stitch is used on his hat, or if it is lined like this one; it’s just the point of inspiration.
This version incorporates slipped stitches and a twisted ribbing. It also requires an elastic pony holder (evolution brand recommended) for closure, as it is knit as a tube and fully lined in lace weight. The bind off is worked similar to a 3-needle bind off.
Simple, warm, and a fast knit!
