Six soft strips and some fancy fingerwork put a new twist on an old standby. Follow these simple steps to make this bold plaited beauty.
From the base of a garter-stitch band, six tubes are knit separately in the round to the desired length--Kristen TenDyke stopped at 90 inches--then braided to form a lattice and rejoined by a matching garter-stitch band

SIZES: One size
Finished Measurements: approx 41⁄2” wide, 60” long
MATERIALS:
Lush by Classic Elite (50% Angora, 50% wool; 50 gram hank = approx 123 yards)
• 5 hanks 4492 Mt. Washington Sky
Needles:
• One set double pointed needles (dpns) each size US 4 and US 6 (3.5 and 4 mm)
Or size to obtain gauge.
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holders or waste yarn
