A small project for learning colourwork cables.
SIZE
The cosy measures approximately It will fit all average sized mugs.
MATERIALS
Sportweight/light DK weight yarn with approximately 230 metres/252 yards per 100g. You will need less than 10g each of 2 contrasting colours.
The pictured sample was knitted with baa ram ewe ‘Dovestone DK’ in Chevin (MC) and Parkin (CC).
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
4mm/US 6 needles for flat knitting.
1 button: 20mm/¾“ size.
TENSION/GAUGE
16 sts and 12 rows per 5cm/2” in blocked cable pattern. Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve the specified tension.
