Yorkshire Shawl was inspired by the ancient cedar trees surrounding the main house in the series Downton Abbey.

Yorkshire is a triangular shawl, worked from the top down and features a delicate lace pattern and simple border. The shawl has a wider wingspan with increases on every row.

Shown in shawl and scarf sizes. For the shawl size shown you will need approx. 400m/433yd. For the scarf size shown you will need approx. 183m/200yd.

It is easily adjusted to any yarn quantity by changing the number of repeats worked in the main pattern stitch.

Any fingering weight yarn would work with this pattern.

Instructions include both Charted and Written Instruction.
