Zebra Tea Cosy
The Zebra tea cosy was designed for the Simply Knitting Magazine issue 156 which went on sale on the 3rd of February 2017.
The zabra tea cosy design was inspired by old African Tingatinga art. The zebra’s appearance is simple and instantly recognizable as a zebra. The vertical stripes on the zebras body make a dramatic contrast to the vibrant pink on the inside of the ears.
What I love about this tea cosy is the eyelashes, it makes the zebra look so adorable. The loopy eyelash theme carries on on the zebras main and tail.
The Zebra tea cosy knitting pattern will be available to buy from the TeaCosyFolk website from the 3rd September 2017, in the meanwhile you can buy past copies of Simply Knitting if you missed the pattern when it was first published.
If you like to make a bold statement at tea time the zebra tea cosy certainly stands out.
