Sky is a collaboration between designer Andrea Rangel and yarn company Gauge Dye Works. It features three patterns designed specially for Gauge’s unique self-striping and fading yarns. Patterns are exclusive to club members but will be available to everyone October 28, 2020.

This is a collection of five Hawaii-inspired summer knitting projects perfect for knitting and wearing on the beach.

The Harrow Collection was designed with Victorian- era style in mind, so it’s got a touch of the costume feeling about it. It’s what I might knit and wear in a drafty old house while reading Whuthering Heights in front of a sputtering fire.

Years ago I accepted a dare to create a knitting pattern of the Dude’s sweater in the movie, The Big Lebowski. The Dude has been one of my most popular patterns, and I’ve designed a lot of things since then, but I’ve always wanted to revisit that concept. I’ve been plotting a Dude-inspired sweater that could fit anyone and would be a joy to knit, and I’ve finally accomplished my goal with The Royal We: Dude Patterns for Everyone.

When I first began designing this collection, I had a vision: classy, interesting knits that men would want to wear as well as knit. Having lived in both the city and the country, I have found inspiration in both the practical casualness of the urban Northwest lifestyle, as well as the earthy outdoorsiness of the country. Both places meet in this collection, which melds simplicity, masculinity, and style.

Richting is the first pattern to be released in a collection that was inspired by my summer bike tour to the Netherlands. All of the designs work great for active pursuits while being stylish enough for everyday wear.

It’s the details that make this cozy weekend sweater come to life: contrast color facings, subtly striped sleeves, and pockets worked in reverse Stockinette.
