This pattern calls for one skein of Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande (100% baby alpaca; approx. 110 yds/100 g skein; colorway “878”) or any comparable bulky yarn of your choice

This pattern was originally the Bayareaknitter Mystery KAL. I want to thank everyone that participated in the KAL! Your shawls are so beautiful! The pattern has since been updated into regular pattern format, and it has been given a regular name. I’d like to present “Tidepool”!

Note: To make both pieces, a total of 2 hanks each of A and B are needed.

Note: 1 skein makes the mitts, 2 skeins make the cowl.

This pattern has recently been revised. I have omitted about an inch of the ribbing (which is still depicted in these photos). I feel this gives the hat a better look and feel! I still need to photograph the new version of the hat, so until then, the pattern still depicts the original version in the photo. I am also in the process of revamping ...

This hat is meant to be worn by Anyone! This totally Unisex design is meant to be knit in DK weight yarns (Heaven DK, Earth, Super Sexy DK, Tracks doubled) by the Buffalo Wool Co. It’s a wonderfully quick one skein project great for a beginner!
