Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Skies will be blue when you make this simple crescent / heart-shaped shawl / shawlette using only simple lace and a single skein of solid or a graduated color-change fingering-weight yarn. The lace pattern flows down the back, in lieu of a basic spine, and then scallops the bottom edges, keeping you interested throughout the knitting.

Sock yarn with a slow color change turns this simple pattern into a work of art. Even a beginner will have no trouble with this design.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This super simple shawl is based on the traditional Grandmother’s Favorite wash-cloth pattern, with a clever bind-off to create a simple bottom-up triangle with no spine in the middle. Mindless and soothing, it is the perfect tv or travel knitting.

Knitting: Scarf
If you like the idea of knitting lace but don’t feel like you are a “lacy person,” this is the scarf for you. The tailored appearance is very sophisticated.

Knitting: Mittens
This pattern is written for Magic Loop, using 24-32” circulars, but can easily be adapted to 2 circs or dpns, if you prefer.

Knitting: Tutorial
This is a 20-page tutorial that teaches the basics of knitting lace and reading lace charts for beginners. It assumes only that you know how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off.

Knitting: Bookmark
A quick and easy gift for teachers, members of a book club, or friends. One skein will make several bookmarks. Small amounts of felt can be used to line the bookmark (optional).
