I bought the yarn for this pattern while on vacation in Kennebunkport, ME. The colors reminded me of the ocean on a sunny day, thus the name. They can be worn under your sweater sleeves for a little added warmth without a lot of added bulk.--Hope you enjoy them.--Nettie

A simple shawl that is all knit stitch. It is perfect for knitting while watching TV and/or reading and catching up on the posts in you favorite Ravelry forum group.

I recently acquired a Amazon Kindle and wanted to create a protective sleeve for it. While this may not be quite as tough as leather or silicone, it works for me. I am posting the pattern here just in case someone else wants to create something warm and personal for their Kindle.

One of my favorite lace cloths, this pattern is delicate in appearance, but still able to do the job. In my opinion, lace cloths dry quicker after use. An important consideration when your summers are humid. Bonus: You should be able to make two from one 56.6 gram ball of cotton.

These dishcloths come in two sizes, and please don’t let their elegant appearance fool you, they are quite up to washing dishes. Along with fancy soap, they would also make a tasteful housewarming gift

This pattern was written to utilize the k1b stitch in a manner that will create a thick protective “Phone Mitten”.

This is not really a full pattern but a way to use the Pi Shawl formula to make a dishcloth.

Design features a Latvian style twist cuff; twisted cable ribs that define the gusset; a 4-stitch cable is maintained on the outside of the hand as a design element; and a picot bind off complements the Latvian style twist cuff.

These are soft, warm mitts that will keep you hands warm whether you are at the keyboard; behind the wheel; or even knitting. I hope you enjoy this pattern.

The Foglia Cadente (Falling Leaves) Throw measures 60 inches long by 40 inches wide. I wanted a throw that has neutral yet beach like colors – thus the complementary shades of tan which also give the fabric depth. I am also intrigued by the idea of using a lace stitch with a heavy yarn. I find this throw to be warm and yet whimsical.

I named this bag Cynara because it reminds me of an artichoke. It is a round, little 9 inch bag, and if you wanted to line it, it would be perfect to carry a ball of sock yarn and your current sock in progress.

These mitts are made with a fingering weight yarn, which keeps them from being bulky. The lace ribbing helps maintain the fit for a range of wearers. No cable is needed to complete this design, just a basic understanding of working in the round.

This pattern was designed to add a little elegance to a mundane duty.

This pattern is very quick and each one can take less than hour if you are used to working with double pointed needles.
