The Magnolia Tote is as practical as it is striking. Different styling offers different utility with the changing silhoette: it is my favorite farmer’s market companion; with the sides pulled out straight, and roomy enough for orchard-ripe apples, fresh kale, collards, multi-colored carrots, and fresh, home-grown mushrooms.

Welcome Spring! is a delightful little purse that inspires joy. She is diminutive, perfect for secret treasures, an ideal hostess gift, and an even better Easter or Mother’s Day present.

I like carrying large bags and purses … but I don’t like digging around in my purse to find my keys, or my credit card at the grocery store. I came up with a solution: The On The Go! purses: This pattern contains only the medium size, but the On The Go pattern contains three sizes.

These totes have nice wide bases so you can pack a lot into them. Fold in the corners for a decidedly vintage travel bag or fill it to the top. A zipper closure keeps your things from spilling out all over the tarmac.

My inspiration for these three little treats were small beaded bags I have in my very small antique bag collection. The beaded bags are from the 30s and 40s, and, for me, conjure images of young women dashing from one social even to the next … three nights in a row.
