This brioche hat is the best way to learn brioche for the first time. Surprisingly, using two colors makes it easier to understand the different stitches, and working in the round simplifies the pattern.

A quick and simple cowl in a pretty gradient yarn!

This cropped lace top is worked in the round starting at the neck. After the lace, it is split at the shoulders and the back and front are worked separately back and forth. It’s a loose-fitting tank (1-3” positive ease) without any waist shaping.

The rocks and cliffs on the California coastline that have been weathered to resemble honeycombs inspired the texture for this purse. It turned out to be perfect for gathering yellow rocks and pieces of abalone shells.

Versatile, warm and sleek looking hat for winter. This hat is knit starting from the earflaps and worked upward. The top layer is two strands of Rowan felted tweed, the bottom Madelinetosh Tosh DK.

In honor of my first Minnesota winter approaching, I designed this double layered/double sided hat in my two current favorite colors to keep me extra warm the next few months!

The hat is knitted loosely and with a tall folded brim. It’s knit in a rib pattern with delicate pointed decrease details at the top. Rowan’s Felted Tweed is as warm and durable as it is an essential textural addition to your knitted wardrobe.
