Retro Roller is a funnel shaped cowl that will cover your collar and collar bones then narrows around the neck and face.

The Boesemani cowl was designed to play with really wildly variegated yarns in a controlled, geometric, colorwork pattern. As the variegation goes from dark to light the colors seemingly shimmer in contrast to the background color like the scales of a Boesemani Rainbow Fish.

Light and Power is a large funnel-shaped cowl, inspired by a string of warm incandescent string lights. The chart is small and the pattern can be easily adjusted to be larger, smaller, longer or shorter.

A little over 2 years ago I, through a friend and former coworker, was contacted to make some scarves for a TV Pilot for a show called Happy! The pilot scarves were chaotic stripes with a pop of traditional pattern at the ends. The first of 2 were knit in a day. Let me tell you, that TV schedule is rough.

The Screaming Floral Hat is a quick and easy beanie/toque with a loud, graphic floral pattern. The pattern is fun to knit in the summer and warm to wear in the winter.

This March I stumbled onto some Korean TV on Netflix and it has sparked an obsession not seen since I discovered Battlestar Galactica. This hat is inspired by a hat worn in one of my favorite KDramas.

The festive Twinklebaum hat can be knit using Bulky, Aran, or Dk weight yarns by adjusting the number of pattern repeats and gauge. The yardage, needle size and gauge for each size and yarn in included in the pattern.

Pumpkins on a Vine is a fully lined colorwork cowl. It is a very warm, thick cowl that creates a wall of knit fabric around your head to protect you from wind and cold temperatures. Instructions are for one size but the chart is small and repeatable so you can make the cowl as wide or as tall as you want.

The Baktiari hat can be knit as either a beanie or a slouch, in sizes large (22”) or small (18”). The large hat is knit using either aran weight or worsted weight yarn. I have made this pattern free. It was inspired by the decor in Chinatown during the Lunar New Year celebrations, my favorite holiday in NY, and the displays in stores and restaurants. I think they are beautiful, but trying to make money off the imagery made me uneasy, so I have made the pattern free.

This is a big, chunky, plush cowl. It measures 12 inches high and 32 inches in circumference if knit according to the directions. The chart is only 16 stitches wide, making it very easy to adjust the circumference larger or smaller to suit your style. It is a companion pattern to the Pop Blossoms Hat and Mittens.

This pattern was developed after I received a Christmas request from my dad for a slouchy hat in deep blue with flashes of color like Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The short stretches of color were inspired by impressionist brush strokes.
