Taking inspiration from the rugged textures of the coastline, I combined cables and texture to create a classic little cardigan with quirky back detail. This design has been added to our collection following requests from visitors to our shows, who saw a similar design that I created for girls called Shingle.

Palm Bonsai captures the early start of spring time. I have teamed up the crisp pastel shades Duck Egg and Fennel into a travelling zig zag stripe to symbolise the new blossoms and buds of the first flowers of spring. This vee neck jumper has a slight flair from the empire line; just like flowers’ first opening.

Back to back cables and peacock plumes form the main pattern on this design. You can see why I thought of the Nile Lily (Agapanthus) when it came to naming this garment. Honeycomb textures are made up of a simple cluster stitch that emulate the leaves of the Mesquite tree. A drapey waterfall cardigan with the body knitted in one piece from right front to left front with separate sleeves. I was inspired to design this blanket from the memories of being taken into an old fashioned sweet shop when I was a little girl. The garter stitch stripes are reminiscent of rainbow crystals and the cables are in the shape of candy twists.

The rich, dark colours of the Trona tunic were inspired by the flowers of early Autumn. Deep purple, thistle, lilac and fuchsia can be seen in the Michaelmas daisies, gladioli and heathers in my garden. I placed a single panel of flowers against a French Navy background for maximum impact and the bi-colour rib trims echo the flowers perfectly.
