This top is knit in brioche stitch on large needles, it is a quick knit in spite of the fingering weight yarn. There is very little seaming, just the sleeve seam. The front and back has an easy three needle bind off. Contrasting I-cord is used to hold the sides together and is also used as a fun accent on the front.

Size: S (M, L, XL), 34 (38, 43, 48)” bust measurement. This is a loose fitting garment meant to be worn with a bit of positive ease.

Yarn:

MC Fingering weight. Sample knit in Knit Picks Gloss, color Kenai, 6(6, 7, 8) skeins

CC Fingering weight. Sample knit in Knit Picks Stroll, color Mermaid, less than 50 gr

Needles:

Size 8 US (5 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles, or straight needles, you will not be knitting in the round

(2) size 6 US (4 mm) 24” (60 cm) or larger circular needles (one can be a size smaller if needed)

Notions: markers, tapestry needle

Gauge: 14 sts x 34 rows = 4 x 4”, (10 x 10 cm) in Brioche Stitch with MC (please see note)

Note: It is important to make a gauge swatch and wet block it. Brioche Stitch will change significantly once washed and blocked! This will also help you know how loose you need to cast on and bind off.
