Sample It is an important part of the h + h trade show where vendors offer selected items for sale at wholesale prices. At the last show, I was immediately attracted to a shiny, bright red yarn and the samples showing it knit up. I had tried bamboo yarn many years ago and was not impressed, but Bamboo Linen Treasures (70% bamboo, 30% linen) from Treasure Goddess Yarn has changed my mind. I had a two-colored vest in mind with the colors interlocking in a simple center cable. Since I couldn’t decide between two colorways, I decided to make two samples: a cropped top and a longer version. Besides the length, the only other difference is the length of the armhole openings.

The yarn is Super Fine weight so two strands are held together to form a Light weight yarn.

This top is graded as Intermediate due to the colorwork. Two-color cables can be a bit tricky as they require both intarsia and stranded techniques.
