Basic Child's Cardigan
Pattern Description from Cast On, May-July 2009: “The pattern is this lesson is for a very simple girl’s cardigan. To make it a little more interesting to knit, it uses a simple Seed Stitch Square pattern. There will be an explanation of each step in the construction preceding the pattern section. Pattern instructions are boxed to set them off from the explanations.”

- Debbie Bliss BABY CASHMERINO (1.75oz/50g, 136yds/125m, 55% Merino Wool, 33% Microfibre, 12% Cashmere): 5 (6, 7, 8) skeins #340001 Yellow
- Sizes 2 (3.0mm) & 3 (3.25mm) needles or size needed to obtain correct gauge
- Tapestry needle
- Six ½“ - diameter buttons
- Straight of circ needles may be used for this pattern. If you use circ needles, use needles at least 24” (61mm).
