A cheeky pair of blue-footed boobies for bathtime fun!

These washcloths are knitted back and forth in rows using the mosaic technique, with knit and slip sts.

Two versions are provided: version 1 uses only one colour in each row, while version 2 incorporates the intarsia technique to give your booby a blue beak as well as the blue feet after which it is named.

The eyes are embroidered after the knitting is complete, using either a cross stitch or a French knot.

A crochet chain loop allows the washcloths to be hung up to dry.

The designs are charted and instructions on how to read the charts are included. Also included are instructions on working the mosaic technique and how to knit the blue beak using the intarsia method.

If you are using a different yarn to the one suggested, you will need approx 57.5m in MC, 45m in CC1 and 50m in CC2 of DK yarn.

This design uses Stitchmastery charts.
