Canvas scarf is worked flat from side to side in cozy garter stitch, featuring an intarsia color-block motif. The piece begins with a simple cast-on, and the striking colorwork is workedfrom a provided chart, highlighting a contrast between solid and gradually color-changing yarns. Edges are kept neat by incorporating selvedge stitches on both sides.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in two contrasting colors.
MC: Approximately 940 m.
CC: Approximately 315 m.
The sample uses Dundaga wool, 410m/100g, 100% Wool in two colors: MC - color-changing colorway, CC - in solid color.
Gauge: 16 sts & 30 rows = 10 cm in garter stitch, worked flat on gauge needles.
Gauge is not critical, but variations will affect yarn usage and finished size.
Needles:
4 mm, 80 cm circular needle.
Or adjust needle size as needed to achieve desired drape for your yarn.
