Caper Tank
Caper is a 4ply weight Colour-work tank top. Caper, meaning ridiculous escapade or adventure calls for colour play and experimentation. Using traditional techniques of knitting the body in the round up to the armholes. Steeks are then created at armpits and the v-neck. Work in the round whilst shaping the armhole and the v-neck.
Only two colours are worked at a time per row, and the floats should never be long enough to ruin your tension. Inspired by traditional Fairisle patterns and Peeries (small classic patterns). The colour placement was developed to be fun and easy to personalise. If shopping for new yarn, colours can be easily switched out for a similar tone/ shade from the John Arbon Textiles Knit by Numbers range. Alternatively, this could be a great project to use lots of scraps of yarn up, and a big chance to experiment with colour.
