Another of my own designs . Designed to fit American Girl Doll and other soft bodied 18’’ dolls with similar measurements . My models are AG Doll Julie , Annie a South African Doll and Battat Our New Generation Doll .

DESIGNERS NOTE :
3 Different Cardigans that will look cute worn with pants , jeans , a dress or a knitted slim fit pants or tights . Cardigan A : the body has a leafy lacy design with stockinette sleeves + bodice . Cardigan B : the entire cardigan work in stockinette rows and Cardigan C : well a bit of a basket type of stitch , a few rows shorter with shorter puffy sleeves and only 2 buttons at the upper front opening . I have knitted the sleeves first , then the body , then combined all the stitches to form the yoke . So the only sewing needed is the side seam of sleeves and the small area under the arms and of course to sew on the buttons . I have also included knitting instructions for a rib tights . Please note that the Melon tights knitted with the Bergère de France Sonora cotton mix the tights is aboved ankle length. Please NOTE that I have included the yardage so please check if your yardage will be sufficient if you are going to use a 50gm skein yarn or cotton .

Cardigan B : Stylecraft Summer Breeze DK 49gm ( 127.2 meters /139.2 yards), Colour Marmelade
Cardigan B : Stylecraft Extra Special DK 40 gm ( 117.8 meters / 128.8 yards ) Colour Sandstone
Cardigan C: Bergère de France Sonora Colour Ecume 50gm ( 115 meters /125.0 yards)
THE TIGHTS : Stylecraft Special DK 46 gm ( 135.4 meters /148.1 yards) Colour Cream
Aboved ankles tights : Bergère de France Sonora 50gm ( 115.2 meters / 126.0 yards ) Colour Melon .

• Size 3.25mm , 3.50mm + 3.75mm knitting needles straight or circular
• Size 3.50mm x 2 dpns or circular needles for knitting the bodice
• 5 Buttons for Cardigan A+B and 2 for Cardigan C
• Tapestry Needle
