Need a last-minute gift? Like the wintery textures of Careen and Ice Storm but haven’t got time knit aran, let alone sport weight? Then this is for you. The fast version. Writ large.

Inspired by winter frosts, the super-bulky yarn makes the textures stand out - in just 8sts to 10cm/4”.

The snug size is a neat, unisex version, shown in Silver Mink. It is also great for a petite fit with its smaller proportions. It is super-cosy because the closer fit really keeps the draughts out. It takes just two skeins of yarn - an experienced knitter could make it in an evening.

Add a third skein to make the generous size and a more generous gift. This is slightly oversized for extra impact and squashiness - shown in bold Azalea. It’s also ideal for plus sizes, creating balance and framing the face.

Work it flat OR in the round.
Follow the chart OR use the written instructions.
