My name is Louise Zass-Bangham. I love to design things that are fun to knit and look great. I originally did a degree in textile design where I developed a passion for colour and specialised in knit. Later I went to Central St. Martins College of Art and Design as a postgraduate in pattern cutting (pattern making for US readers). The tutors dropped me straight in at the deep end with some of London’s top catwalk designers, leading fashion brands and stylists. Having kids gave me the time to get back to hand knitting and I am thrilled to be designing my own pieces again.

In my first year of publishing patterns on Ravelry, 7 designs made the top 20 hot-right-now list. Ice Storm Long Cowl and Song of the Sea made the top 5. 2012 was an exciting year!
