In the Spring 2018 issue, I designed a simple two-color top with a cable in the center using Elemental Affects Civility, one of my favorite yarns. I have been wanting to try their Cormo, and I decided to use the same basic concept of color changes at the cables but using three colors this time. I was torn between a pastel palette or a bright palette so I decided to do both. The pattern for the Cabled Color Block Cropped Cardigan (or CCB Cropped Cardigan, for short) follows.

This sweater is slightly oversized with drop-shoulder sleeves, shoulder saddles, and a wide neck opening.

The pullover is graded as Intermediate due to the color changes. Two-color cables can be a bit tricky as they require both intarsia and stranded techniques. Unlike the Two-Color Cable Top, there is no color change in the neckband.
