This is a pattern for an ornately cable lace shawl. This shawl is knitted with sport weight yarn.

The shawl is approximately 20 inches x 74 inches. Both the focal cable stitch and the side cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney. The lace is a more traditional faggotting stitch.

The stitches are charted ONLY..

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. (This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern).

The yarn used in the sample is Malabrigo’s Arroya in colorway Peachy. This pattern was expertly tested by Mimi Seville who can be reached at: Karal3@yahoo.com, and requires approximately 1100 - 1250 yards of sport weight yarn.
