Inspired by both Western and Eastern colorwork traditions, these gender-neutral accessories will keep the knitter intrigued with their modernized mix of motifs and color placements. The pattern includes both an infinity cowl and a scarf version.

Basic Skills Needed / Notes:
Cast on, join and work in the round, knit, purl, work with two colors of yarn, change needles between rounds, knit increase and decrease, and bind off. These and all other techniques used are explained in the pattern or through Knit Picks’ online tutorials.

  • The entire pattern is both charted and written out.

  • Only two colors are worked at any time.

  • Estimated level: Adventurous Beginner - Intermediate.

  • The Cowl version starts with a Provisional Cast On, then is grafted together at the end. The Scarf version begins and ends with two-color variations of the Long Tail Cast On and Basic Bind Off. The body of each piece is knit in the round as a tube.
