This reversible edging was an unnamed 1912 Fleisher’s pattern. It starts with 18 stitches and has 24 pattern rows. 12 of those rows are knit across (+ 1 selvage stitch). The skills needed for this edging are surprisingly few for how attractive this edging is!
The edging is 3 inches at its widest at gauge but gauge isn’t important.

Skills needed: cast on, slip, knit, YO, k2tog and bind off in knit stitch.

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Any block-able yarn/thread will work. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.

50 yards of Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 thread will make 10 inches of this edging at gauge.
