Esther’s Striped Top
Esther’s Striped Top is our take on a wonderful, simple and becoming summer top with a twist. The circular design is flattering and enhances the feminine shape, which is exactly why we’re so fond of designing tops with circular yokes. It features contrast-colored stripes, perhaps even in different yarns, which gives it a slightly maritime look and demonstrates our fondness for stripes. We have added extra details such as Italian cast-on and bind-off.
Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

Procedure
The top is worked in the round from the top down, beginning with an Italian cast-on. Short rows are worked across shoulders and back of neck to make the back of the neck higher than the front. The yoke is worked with increases. Finally, the yoke is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.
