This lovely abstract fairisle cushion was a very popular workshop project in the latter part of 2017 and in 2018. The cushion is knitted flat and worked in sections, with each one being worked off the other. The finished cushion can be backed with a complimenting tweed fabric backing or you can knit the fairisle piece twice or knit a striped back.

The finished cushion front measures 46cm (18 ins) x 46cm (18 ins) when blocked or steam pressed. You will need a 48cm (19 ins) x 48cm (19 ins) machine washable cushion pad and a piece of 46cm (18 ins) x 46cm (18 ins) backing fabric.
