Sometimes it’s fun to play with a variety of patterns and elements within the same design. Hence, the name referring to the two different looks from front to back.

I wanted to use faux pleats on the fronts of this vest to create a more relaxed appearance but wanted a more standard fitting back. It can also be fun to include a slit as a design element within the overall pattern, in this case at the lower back. The knit stitches that become the cable when both halves of the lower back are joined was another way to play with the pattern.
