Quick & easy crochet floppy brim, sun hat. Worked in the round from the top down.

This pattern uses basic stitches – chains, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet and slip stitches. (The black-eyed susan flower pattern also uses treble and double-treble stitches.)

Less than 3 ounces of cotton worsted weight size 4 yarn for the hat, plus small amounts of contrasting color worsted weight yarn for flowers (optional) & sizes H & I crochet hooks (J & I needed for adult size).

Directions are given for small (fits average12-18 months); medium (fits average 1-2 years); large (fits average 3-10 years) and adult.
