This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for a wide scarf, (10 inches wide), and a shawl (24 inches wide) giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.

This stole is knitted with light weight yarn. The stole is approximately 15 1/2 inches x 74 inches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 1000 - 1200 yards.

The focal cable is a very unique one that came to us from Scotland.

The stitches are both charted and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the entire pattern, the optional edging.
