Pretty little lace scarf that can be knit with beads or without, depending on your preference.

Samples were knit with either Nimu Blencathra (held single) with 168 beads (size 9/0 Gutterman beads) for a scarf 5” x 49” or Heirloom knitting Merino Lace (held double) without beads and the larger needle for a scarf measuring 7” x 56”.

There are written instructions and charts included in the pattern which is knit in stocking stitch in one piece from the bottom up. The pattern is a simple Shetland inspired candlelight motif and can be knit as long or as short as you like. So it’s a great little pattern for stashbusting and you can use cobweb, lace or even heavier yarn, depending on what you have. The lace pattern in on odd rows only.

Have fun & happy knitting xxx

Many thanks to my two wonderful testers Peggy and Joan.
