Harmony Farm
-- NOTE: pattern will be available to purchase from 1st May 2026 --
Overlay Mosaic Crochet CAL (Crochet ALong)
The price displayed already includes a 50% introductory discount. This will remain valid until I add the file for Part 1 on 15th May, when the discount will reduce to 25% for the remainder of the CAL period.
From 22nd June the price will revert to the full £7.95
Please note, you will not get the entire pattern all at once.
The pattern has been split into 6 parts, which will be added to your Ravelry library weekly, starting 15th May 2026.
In addition, there is an Introduction file containing yarn information, abbreviations and the gauge swatch, which I strongly recommend you read carefully before you begin.
To ensure that you get all parts without any issues, please ensure you are logged in on Ravelry before you purchase the pattern.

Inspired by the Norfolk countryside, Harmony Farm is a 6-part CAL, worked using overlay mosaic crochet, and finished off with a pretty envelope border to hide the loose ends.
If you are unfamiliar with mosaic crochet, or the envelope border, don’t worry, they are much easier to do than they look, and step by step instructions are given.
You will only be using 1 colour for each row.
Videos are also provided for the gauge swatch, the special stitches used in Parts 4 and 5, and the border.

Each part of the CAL will include a clear, marked chart and full written instructions, and there are lots of supporting photos.
The design mainly uses the basic mosaic crochet stitches (US sc in BLO and dc in FLO), but I have also included a couple of special stitches to make selected parts a little more prominent (the eggs and the buttons on the Scarecrow’s jacket) … don’t worry though, these are explained in the pattern, and video tutorials will also be available from my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/RosinaCrochets, as the relevant part is released.

There are three ‘official’ colourways: Arable and Dairy use Stylecraft Special DK yarn; and Organic uses Stylecraft Aran with Wool and Highland Heathers Aran.
The pattern is written for a single size (approximately 88 x 136 cm for Arable and Dairy / 105 x 165 cm for Organic), and yarn packs are available for these sizes (links to some stockists are at the end of this listing).
The pattern also includes additional information to enable you to easily make a different size (just start with a multiple of 48 + 6 chains).
You can also adjust the length of your project by repeating your favourite parts, or skipping others.
The 48-stitch repeat also makes Harmony Farm easy to combine with many of my other mosaic crochet designs, including Fairy Dust, Flora’s Fauna, Letitia’s Garden, Spring Into Easter, Waterside and Beside the Seaside.
For those of you wanting to make a larger blanket, Caroline Tigchelaar and Lynn Leonard made larger versions using Yarnsmiths Create DK. They both incorporated the gauge swatch and the carrots from March Hare, and Lynn also added sections from Lakenham Mosaic Sampler and Beside The Seaside.
Yarn packs for these will be available from Wool Warehouse, and instructions are included in a bonus file.
Please note to make the combo blankets you will also need to have purchased the above mentioned patterns separately.
There is a further bonus file which splits the various patterns for those of you wishing to make 2 smaller baby blankets.
Lefthander-friendly
For all non-symmetrical parts I will provide either an additional chart or additional written instructions for lefthanders.
There will also be lefthanded versions of all videos.
Each part will be available to download from your Ravelry library by 11am, UK time on the following dates:
Introduction - Friday, 1st May 2026
Part 1 – Friday, 15th May 2026
Part 2 – Friday, 22nd May 2026
Part 3 – Friday, 29th May 2026
Part 4 – Friday, 5th June 2026
Part 5 – Friday, 12th June 2026
Part 6 – Friday, 19th June 2026
When the CAL is finished, I will remove the files for all of the separate CAL parts, and replace them with the complete pattern in a single file.
For those of you that can’t wait for each part to be released, the complete pattern will also be available from my Etsy and Love Crafts stores from 8th May 2026, but this will not be discounted.
To simplify the abbreviations, and avoid the need for separate UK and US versions, the pattern is written in my ’Universal’ terms (I developed these terms for the Jacquard Temperature Blanket and have also used them in all my subsequent overlay mosaic crochet CALs and patterns).
If you want to find out more about my Universal terms, please see this short video https://youtu.be/IsubXOfEuVw
Dutch translations will also be provided, courtesy of my dear friend, Caroline Tigchelaar.
