This hat will fit a 6” circumference bald doll head or a smaller doll head with a wig.
The band on this hat is worked sideways in garter stitch. The crown stitches are picked up on the side of the band. Skills needed are casting on, knitting, purling, decreasing, picking up stitches on the side of knitting, binding off and sewing a seam. Sewing on embellishments is optional.

1 skein of 25m/27yd DMC size 5 pearl cotton will make 1 hat with several yards left over.
