Haust
Haust is an elegant light-weight cardigan for those in-between-seasons where you, well, just want a light-weight cardigan. It’s easy to modify for length, as you can knit plain stockinette for longer once you have completed the lace pattern around the waist.
Construction
Haust is a set-in sleeve cardigan. It is worked bottom-up in the round, with steeks for both the cardigan front, armholes and neck opening. This allows you to shape the fronts and the back of the cardigan concurrently, and you don’t have to purl that much. The cardigan also features short-row shaping at the shoulders, and the steeks allow you to work these concurrently as well.
The cardigan is worked at a relatively loose gauge for the recommended yarn, so that you will have a lightweight cardigan that is easy to bring around.
