Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. The Head in the Clouds Tee is a super fun little tee with a fluffy cloud detailing along the bottom of the body! It is knit top down raglan style, with some short row neck shaping. The tee is intended to be an oversized fit with 5-10” of positive ease, and a slightly cropped length. It is intended to be a bit of a boxy fit. It is a size inclusive design, written in 10 sizes from 31.5” - 70.1” chest (fits bust of ~21” - 65”, depending on desired ease).

Sizes offered:
31.5(36.2, 40, 44.7){48.5, 53.2, 56.9}(61.6, 65.4, 70.1)
These sizes reflected the FINISHED chest measurements in inches of the tee. The tee is designed for 5-10” of positive ease. I knit size 44.7 and have a 36” bust for about 8.5” of positive ease. To determine the size you wish to knit, measure your chest, and add 5-10” to find the closest size. If you are in between sizes, size down for a snugger fit, or up for a looser fit.

Yarn recommended:
Main Yarn: 1 colour of any worsted weight yarn to match gauge
I used Hobbii Portobello yarn (131 yds/50g) in Titanium.

Accent Yarn: 1 colour of any mohair/suri/lace weight yarn
Note: you will be holding this Accent Yarn together with your Main Yarn. You can use 1 or 2 strands of your accent yarn, depending on how thick/fluffy your yarn choice is and whether you want the accent detail to be more subtle or distinct.
I used Hobbii Friends Kid Silk (218 yds / 25g) in White.

Yardage recommended:
Main Yarn: 380(460, 530, 620){680, 770, 840}(905, 950, 1040)
Accent Yarn: 155(180, 200, 225){240, 275, 295}(320, 335, 375)
If choosing to hold 2 strands of your accent yarn, double the above Accent Yarn yardage.

Yardage per additional inch of length:
Main Yarn: 21(24, 27, 30){32, 35, 38}(41, 43, 46)
Accent Yarn: 19(21, 24, 27){29, 31, 34}(36, 38, 41)

Note: Yardage is an approximation and is calculated using the recommended length (see page 4). Allow for extra yardage if choosing to do length modifications. The yardage can vary depending on your gauge and knitting, so I always recommend buying extra in case you require more yardage.

Needles recommended:
5 mm / US 8 / UK 6 for (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Note: Interchangeable needles are your friend! You will need an appropriate length of cord for your body size, and for the collar and sleeves you may use a 16” cord, 32”+ cord with magic loop method, or DPNs.

Gauge:
4” x 4” = 17 sts x 24 rows
1” x 1” = 4.25 sts x 6 rows
working in stockinette, in the round (after blocking), using your Main Yarn (you also may want to swatch with the Main and Accent Yarns held together to see if you’ll need to adjust needle size once working the Cloud Details)
Note: If your stitch count is correct for gauge, but row count is not, use this needle size but remember you may need to adjust your length
Note: Use the same blocking method you plan to use for the actual sweater.
