An ideal sock for variegated and/or hand painted yarns. The slip stitch pattern adds enough texture without competing with multicolored yarns. A simple pattern that is easily adjustable to many sizes.

These socks are knit toe up with a wrap-stitch, short row heel. There is no reason an alternate heel couldn’t be used or the pattern used for top down socks. Because of the ribbing and slip stitches, the socks may fit more snugly than other socks with the same stitch count.

There is a chart for the pattern as well as clear line by line instructions.

Skills needed: knit/purl, working in the round, increases/decreases, ability to read a pattern and/or chart.
