Laurel
DESIGN INFORMATION
Laurel is a tee worked in a lace and stockinette stitch pattern, featuring scalloped hems and an easy garter stitch neckband. The front and back are worked in pieces from the bottom up, back & forth in rows, and seamed after all pieces have been knit. The drop-shoulder sleeves are worked from the bottom up and set into the armhole. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck opening to work the garter stitch neckband.
The sample is knit with Purl Soho’s Sweetgrass, a unique blend of cotton and alpaca, in Heirloom White. Laurel is an elevated take on a casual white tee and you’ll find yourself reaching for it through the rest of summer and into fall. The delicate lace details add a romantic touch to your wardrobe without feeling overly fussy or fancy. Please share your progress on instagram with #laureltee
