This runner was inspired by the early autumn colours, just as the leaves begin to turn. The pattern is knitted vertically and can be extended to any desired length. If lengthened it can also be used as a light summer shawl or scarf. The measurements for this pattern fit a smaller table.

Yarn
The runner is knitted in JW (jumperweight) yarn.

A: 50g Roanberry Meal
B: 50g Tormentil Meal
C: 50g Moss Meal

Notice that you will need to add more yarn if you want to extend the length of your piece.

Needle size
Two sets of 4mm needles.
Crochet hook for casting on, 4.5mm. If you alter the yarn weight and needle size, make sure that your crochet hook is at least 0.5mm bigger than your knitting needle size.

Tension
16 sts x 32 rows over lace pattern (after blocking) = 10 cm. The width will depend on how strongly you tease the piece when blocking.
It is always wise to do a swatch to establish your tension; adjust your needle size accordingly.

Size
Width: ca 30.5 cm / 12 in
Length: ca 100 cm / 39½ in (or any chosen length).
You can extend the length by making more pattern repeats. Size can also be adjusted by using larger or smaller needles.
