I have designed Lenora exclusively for Skein Queen Opulent cashmere sport weight yarn.
The gorgeous fiber makes it as light as a feather and a very warm accessory.

Lenora is a shawl with a ‘collar’ as it turns at the top to keep your neck extra warm. If you rather have it straight at the top simply substitute side decreases with short-rows on the plain colour body.
The smallest size (49.5”/17”) shown in Shadow and Thistle uses only 2 skeins making it a very affordable luxury item.
The lace has a modern twist to it making it a very stylish addition to any wardrobe, a fashionable girl can not do without!

It is knitted bottom-up starting with a wide lace border followed by stocking stitch main body. It can be made in a few sizes (S, S/M M, M/L, L). Next size S/M (55”/18”) requires 2 skeins of main colour and 1 skein of contrasting colour, size M (63”/19.5”) 2+2 skeins and L (71”/22”) 3+3 skeins (all sizes are approximate). The pattern is easy enough to be followed by even a less advanced knitter.
I have provided written and charted instructions.
I hope you will enjoy knitting Lenora!
