This garter stitch shawl is knitted “from the top down” by casting
on for the full width. The shawl is then shaped using short rows, called Wrap and Turn, which make the rows shorter and shorter. The lace edging is knitted last, at the same time as the shawl is bound off.

The measurements with given gauge and yarn is as follows:
Width 192 cm
Height 42 cm

With a different yarn and/or gauge, the size may alter.

I used 3 skeins (2 1/2) of the blue colour and one (1/2) in the contrast colour for the lace edging.
