“Lunar Cowl” is a very feminine and delicate accessory. It is knitted in the round in lace and drop stitch patterns and uses only 1 skein f sock yarn.
The cowl can be made in light and heavy fingering weight yarn, however, experimenting with heavier yarn might produce quite interesting effects!
Try a yarn with an added sparkle to make it more special and fun!
“Lunar Cowl” is perfect as a Christmas gift, fast to make and great for stash busting!

For the first sample shown I have used lovely mix of silk/cashmere (70%/30%;460m/100g) by “Sweet Fiber” Yarn called “Heirloom” fingering in colour “Luna” and I only used 300m/65g of it.
The second red sample is knitted in Shalimar Yarns “Breathless” (75%superwashMerino15%Cashmere/10%Silk; 384m/110g), colourway “American Beauty”, 1 full skein is required.

The lace pattern is very easy to memorize making the cowl quite a speedy knit! The instructions are written and also charted.
The pattern has been created for an intermediate skill level.
